Lisa Lowrie

Director of Advocacy & Consumer Relations at The Bradley Center

Dr. Lowrie has been with The Bradley Center for over 17 years as the Director of Advocacy and Consumer Relations. As a Licensed Social Worker, she has extensive experience in social welfare policy, advocacy, regulation, and funding. In addition, she enjoys teaching and training and has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to mental health, critical time intervention, motivational interviewing, self-care, and disaster recovery.

Dr. Lowrie volunteers for community service with the American Red Cross serving as a lead and member of the Central Pennsylvania Disaster Mental Health and Services to Armed Forces teams. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Temple University and a Doctor of Social Work Degree from Kutztown University and Millersville University. Her areas of interest are: children’s mental health; individuals and culture; the culture of generational cohorts; technology and its impact on the social worker; retention in the human services workforce; and policy, practice, and education related to email use in the workplace.
