Margaret Shropshire

Margaret Shropshire has a strong background in finance and compliance. Margaret currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Bridge Group, Inc. since 2018. Prior to this, they also served as Vice President of Global Product Management at BNY Mellon from 2012 to 2016. At both companies, Margaret played key roles in strategic planning and team collaboration. Margaret has experience leading teams and acting as a liaison for various departments. Before BNY Mellon, Margaret worked as an Assistant Director and Compliance Manager at The Hartford Retirement Plans Group from 2008 to 2012. Margaret led a team of compliance administrators and served as a subject matter expert for marketing and operations. Margaret started their career at MFS Investment Management in 2002, where they held the position of Senior Financial Analyst/ERISA Compliance Manager. Margaret managed reporting and executed strategies for the Retirement Services division, and was responsible for non-discrimination testing and tax reporting for custom ERISA clients.

From 1990 to 1994, Margaret Shropshire studied at Northeastern University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance.
