Jason Louis is an experienced law enforcement professional with a career spanning over two decades at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, where Jason holds the position of Sergeant since January 1999. With a diverse background that includes roles in Detention, Courts, Investigations, and training at the Regional Training Center, Jason currently supervises the agency's Use of Force Cadre and Arrest and Control Cadre, in addition to serving on the use of force review board. Since October 2021, Jason has also served as Chief Executive Officer of The Briefing Room, a company providing on-demand law enforcement briefing training designed to enhance officer training through the utilization of agency supervisors. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University.
