Lanny Thorndike

Lanny Thorndike is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment management and board governance. Currently serving as President at Choate Investment Advisors since January 2021, Lanny holds several significant trustee positions, including Board Trustee at Mass General Brigham and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where Vice Chair responsibilities are also held. Lanny is a Member of the Board of Trustees at Groton School and serves as Board Trustee and Treasurer at Cotting School. Additional board involvement includes partnerships with Partners HealthCare and the Jefferson Trust at UVA. Previously, Lanny was Managing Director at Congress Asset Management Company and Managing Partner, CEO, and Chairman at Century Capital Management and the Century Funds. Lanny earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and an A.B. from Harvard University.
