Sonal V. Gandhi serves as vice president of Real Estate, Planning and Construction at Brigham and Women's Hospital a role she assumed in August of 2021.
In this role, Gandhi is responsible for all real estate, planning and construction activities, working closely with and supported by a team of both in-house and consultant staff.
Gandhi comes to the Brigham following a 20-year career at the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA), where she has served in multiple leadership roles, most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff. While at the BPDA, Gandhi was responsible for the creation and direction of major public policy, legislation, economic development, planning and communication strategies for the City of Boston including an independent operational review of the BPDA and the development and growth of the Longwood Medical and Academic Area and Boston's life sciences and healthcare sectors, improving patient experience and access to healthcare across the city and region.
Named one of Boston's 40 under 40 by Boston Business Journal, Gandhi holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University.
