Eleanor Hopkins is an accomplished academic and policy adviser with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser for Higher Education & Skills at The British Academy since October 2021, Eleanor previously held roles at Chambers and Partners as a Research Analyst and at the University of Exeter as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant and PhD Candidate. Additional experience includes an Associate Lecturer position at the University of Plymouth and a short-term research fellowship at The Huntington, focusing on communication and transportation networks in nineteenth-century literature. Eleanor's background in academia is supported by a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Exeter, a Master of Arts from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Exeter.
