Lucy Grove

Lucy Grove is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at The British Academy since October 2025, Lucy previously held similar roles at Coin Street and served as a Board Trustee at 1st Place. Notably, Lucy spent over nine years at the National Housing Federation, where responsibilities included directing external affairs strategy, leading a large communications team, and managing crucial initiatives related to building safety in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire. Earlier roles included public affairs management at NSPCC and Macmillan Cancer Support, contributing to significant advocacy efforts in child safety and cancer care. Lucy holds a Master's degree in Public Affairs and Lobbying from Brunel University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
