Prof. Annabelle Gawer

Prof. Annabelle Gawer is the Chaired Professor in Digital Economy and Director of the Centre of Digital Economy at the University of Surrey. Prof. Annabelle is also a Visiting Professor at IMD and a Fellow of the British Academy. Additionally, Prof. Annabelle serves as an Independent Digital Expert at the Competition and Markets Authority and is a Conseil Scientifique member at MINES ParisTech. With a background in Management of Technology and Innovation, Prof. Annabelle has held various teaching and research positions at universities and institutions such as the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the European Commission. Prior to their academic career, Prof. Annabelle worked as a New Product Development Manager at Thales in the Mobile Telecom Networks Division.
