Jo Lusby is a seasoned professional in the creative and media sectors with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. As Co-Founder of Pixie B Limited since April 2017, Lusby provides commercial advisory and business development consulting services focused on the Asian market. Since November 2022, Lusby has served as the Chair of the Creative Industries Committee at The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, where efforts are directed towards supporting creative businesses in the region. Additionally, Lusby acts as a Programming Advisor for the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and has held co-chair and board member roles, promoting literary events for diverse audiences. Previous positions include Executive Board Member at PEN Hong Kong, Non-Executive Director at the China-Britain Business Council, and CEO of Penguin Random House North Asia, where Lusby was responsible for key operations in publishing and digital business. Lusby's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds and additional studies at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.

The British Chamber of Commerce is one of Hong Kong's largest and most active international business organisations representing a broad span of British, Hong Kong and international companies doing business in, with, or through Hong Kong. The Chamber’s aim is to help our members grow their business, and promote and represent their business interests, by providing representation and advocacy; networking and brand exposure; as well as information and insight. While a number of our member companies do business with Britain, or have British operations, companies do not have to be British to join the Chamber. We have a large number of Hong Kong, Chinese and international companies within our membership.
