Di Farrell-Thomas is an experienced professional specializing in diversity and inclusion within the sports sector. Currently serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the British Horseracing Authority since July 2022, Di strategically manages initiatives to address inequalities in horseracing. Previous roles include Progress and Support Tutor at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Industry Courses Manager and Equality & Diversity Lead at The British Racing School, and Regional Partnership Coordinator at The Jockey Club. With a robust background in sports development, including positions at Cambridge City Council and England Hockey, Di has consistently focused on increasing participation and creating supportive environments in sports. Di holds a Level 4 qualification in Managing Equality & Diversity from the Institute of Leadership and Management and a BA Hons in Sports Studies from De Montfort University.

We are responsible for the governance, administration and regulation of horseracing and the wider horseracing industry in Britain. We also lead on the development and growth of our sport, and prioritise the health and welfare of our participants.
