Helen Bryce has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in legal roles. Helen started their career as a Senior Associate at Bird and Bird in 2006 and worked there until 2017. In 2012, Helen had a secondment at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Legal Counsel before moving on to similar roles at British Horseracing Authority, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and JDA Software. Helen joined British Horseracing Authority again in 2016 as the Head of Legal and Governance, a position they currently hold.

Helen Bryce's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Wakefield Girls' High School. Helen completed their A levels in Politics, English, and French at Pontefract New College from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Law at The University of Manchester from 1998 to 2001. In 2001 and 2002, they attended Nottingham Law School, where they obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice Course.
