Emily Collins-Owen currently serves as the Assistant Collections Manager in the Department of Britain, Europe and Prehistory at The British Museum since October 2022. Prior to this role, Emily worked as the Assistant Collections Manager for Storage and Moves in Archaeology at Y Gaer Museum from February 2022 to October 2022. Emily's early experience includes a brief role as a Museum Assistant at The British Museum in August 2021, where a three-week student placement involved updating school resources for the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre's Digital Asset Project. Additionally, Emily interned at the Brecknock Museum & Art Gallery in the summer of 2017, focusing on Romano-British and Bronze Age artefacts and creating object records. Emily holds an MA in Museum and Artefact Studies and a BSc in Archaeology, both from Durham University.
