Sophie Hook

Sophie Hook is a seasoned professional in the food industry, currently serving as Senior Technical Manager at British Pepper and Spice Co Ltd since April 2025. Prior to this, Sophie gained significant experience as R&D Lead at ZENB, where successful product launches included Ragu Sauce and Veggie products, and established the UK R&D division. Sophie held various managerial roles at Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland Ltd, including Supplier Assurance Manager, where new supplier manufacturing standards were developed, and Project Manager for the national launch of the Vegan pizza range. Experience also includes roles at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS and Jordans Dorset Ryvita, where leadership in R&D and process development was demonstrated. Academic credentials include a Post Graduate Certificate in Sensory Science from the University of Nottingham and a degree in Food Science and Microbiology from the University of Surrey.
