Ashwati Parameshwar

Ashwati Parameshwar is an accomplished music educator and vocal coach currently serving as the Whole School Choir Co-ordinator and Secondary School Music Teacher at The British School in New Delhi since October 2020. With extensive experience as a vocal coach through Music with Ashwati from 2011 to 2022, Ashwati has taught a diverse age group of students, focusing on vocal techniques and music theory. As a soprano, Ashwati has performed in numerous solo recitals and operas across major venues in India and internationally. Ashwati has also contributed to the arts as a judge for various music competitions and has held positions at Ashoka University as a Visiting Professor and at Fortune India and Explocity as an editor. Ashwati holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Music from St. Lawrence University.
