Head Teacher (higher Phase) at The British School of Kuwait

Simon Amura has extensive work experience in the education sector, with a focus on leadership roles. Simon began their career at Richard Challoner School as the Director of Music, where they established music as a central part of the school experience and expanded the music provision. Simon held this position from September 2000 to August 2013.

Afterwards, they joined The British School of Kuwait, starting as the SCC Secondary Music teacher from September 2013 to August 2015. Simon then became the Director of Music from September 2015 to August 2016, leading the department and promoting music within the local and national community. Simon also served as the Assistant Head Teacher (Pastoral) from September 2016 to August 2017, managing pastoral care and student support for the "Higher" phase of the school.

From September 2017 to August 2021, Simon held the position of Assistant Head Teacher (Academic) at The British School of Kuwait, overseeing academic performance and implementing data-driven policies.
