Kate Ferguson

Staff Attorney, Criminal Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders

Kate Ferguson (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. While in law school, Kate externed at the Bronx Defenders in the Family Defense practice and served on the boards of the Human Rights Law Review and the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team. Before coming to the Bronx Defenders, Kate clerked for the Honorable Victor Marrero of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, worked at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, and worked for the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem as a staff attorney in their Family Defense practice. Kate graduated cum laude from Duke University, with highest distinction in Public Policy.
