Sonya Chaudhry

Sonya Chaudhry, LCSW, currently serves as a Social Work Training Advocate and Social Worker at The Bronx Defenders since March 2024. Chaudhry has held various leadership roles including Co President and Director of Administration at Stanford FLAN since November 2021, and previously served as Vice Chair on the Board of Macbeth Academy from October 2020 to January 2022. Additional experience includes working as a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep since March 2022, an International Student Advisor at the Institute of International Education from October 2017 to August 2021, and Clinical Director at A Home Within from January 2018 to December 2020. Chaudhry's earlier roles include Therapeutic Social Worker at JCCA and Advisory Board Member for Spark Program Chicago. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Social Work with Children and Families from the University of Stavanger, a Master of Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a BA with Honors in Psychology from Stanford University.
