Thanisha Pariage

Thanisha Pariage, Esq. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Thanisha is currently serving as the Director of Recruiting and Hiring at The Bronx Defenders. Prior to this, they held the position of Recruiting and Hiring Manager at the same organization. In 2018, Thanisha founded KinNect Careers and served as the CEO. Thanisha also worked as a Legal/Policy Fellow at the NYC Mayor's Office of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) in 2019. Thanisha previously worked as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they were an Ambassador at Equal Justice Works and a Summer Legal Intern at The Bronx Defenders. Thanisha also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk at the Public Defender Service in 2014 and as a Summer Legal Intern at United Technologies and Rome McGuigan, P.C. in the same year. Their earliest work experience was as a Human Resources Coordinator at Foot Locker, Inc. in 2012.

Thanisha Pariage, Esq. completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Relations from Hofstra University in 2011. Thanisha then pursued a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, which they obtained in 2016. In 2020, they graduated from the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, specializing in Public Policy Analysis.
