Valentina Allen

Valentina Allen is an experienced professional in animal welfare and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of External Affairs at Brooke, Action For Working Horses and Donkeys since September 2022. Prior to this role, Valentina held various positions at The Donkey Sanctuary, including Advocacy Manager and Public Affairs Officer from December 2016 to September 2022. Valentina's career also includes work as an EU Public Affairs and Trade Advisor at World Animal Protection, an Assistant Policy Officer at the European Commission's DG Health and Food Safety, and a Project Manager in the European Parliament. Valentina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from The Open University (2021-2024), a Master's in Animal Law and Society from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and several degrees in translation and linguistics from various institutions in Italy.
