Carol Thornburg

Carol Thornburg has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Carol started their career in 1994 as an Administrative Director at Houston Masterworks Chorus. Carol then worked as the Director of Development at the University of Houston from 1996 to 2000. Carol then moved on to Texas Children's Hospital, where they served as the Director of Development from 2000 to 2005. Carol Thornburg joined Houston Christian High School in 2005 as the Director of Development and stayed in this role until 2015. After that, they worked at Theatre Under The Stars as the Chief Development Officer from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Development Officer at Brookwood Community, a position they have held since 2017.

Carol Thornburg earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS from 1977 to 1981. Carol then pursued a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Wichita State University, graduating from 1982 to 1984.
