James A. Henry is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, production, and hospitality. As Co-Owner of Henry & Stanfield LLC since March 2022, and a Bartender at The Brown Hotel since November 2021, James combines entrepreneurial skills with customer service expertise. Prior roles include Maintenance Mechanic at Brown-Forman, where responsibilities focused on the maintenance and repair of bottling equipment, and Apprentice Cooper at Kentucky Bourbon Barrel, managing barrel repairs. James has also worked as a Machine Builder at Accurite Machine & Manufacturing and as a CNC Machinist at Kennametal, demonstrating proficiency in machine operations and modifications. With a robust foundation in process engineering from CafePress Inc. and military experience as a Machinist in the Kentucky Army National Guard, James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Applied Arts from Murray State University and various machinist certifications.
The Brown Hotel
The Brown, an historic Four Diamond, AAA hotel in downtown Louisville features classic English Renaissance architecture. The opulent two-story lobby has a hand-painted, coffered ceiling, Bottocino marble flooring, finely carved mahogany furnishings and Palladian-style windows. The Georgian-Revival style exterior is trimmed in stone and terra cotta.
