Michael Strickland CCC currently serves as the General Manager of Lobby Bar and Executive Sous Chef at The Brown Hotel since May 2023. Previously, in April 2021, Michael held the position of Executive Chef at Woodhaven Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky, and from February 2018 to April 2021, was a Partner at LowBrow Pizza and Beer. Experience also includes serving as Chef de Cuisine at Grey Oaks Country Club (June 2013 - January 2018), Rounds Chef at Gasparilla Inn and Club (November 2012 - June 2013), Sous Chef at Country Club of Sapphire Valley (April 2011 - November 2012), and Lead Line Cook at Palmeto Dunes Resort (April 2008 - April 2011). Michael's responsibilities have encompassed menu planning, overseeing operations, staff management, and food preparation for various dining venues, highlighting a commitment to quality and seasonal ingredients. Education was pursued at Southwestern Oregon Community College from 2013 to 2014.
