The Brownestone Group is a retained executive search and strategic consulting firm that specializes in connecting CEO and C-Suite leaders with the talent that will transform their businesses.

Founder Tim Boerkoel launched Brownestone in 2015 following his time at some of the premier executive search firms and an earlier career in retail. Today, he partners with a global network of affiliates known for their expertise in the consumer, fashion, luxury, retail and hospitality industries. Across many geographies and functional areas, we are committed to serving our clients with the most ethical and impactful efforts.

We are unique among executive search and consulting firms in that:

The Brownestone Group has nearly no off-limits. By leveraging a global affiliate network, we can provide comprehensive access to the best talent, resulting in the best and most diverse candidates.

We embrace client cultures and brand DNA, and enjoy the autonomy that only a boutique business with large capabilities and responsibilities allows.

We are continuous learners free to work in the best interest of our clients, including investing significant time on deep candidate development, and offering talent and leadership solutions beyond executive search.

We are designed to create and quickly initiate bespoke talent solutions, offering clients an answer to their true needs – from new leadership hires to strategic partners and subject matter experts.
