Charlie Deets

Charlie Deets is a seasoned product designer with a diverse background spanning over a decade in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Product Designer at The Browser Company since April 2024, Charlie previously held design roles at Apple, focusing on Safari, Home, Privacy, Accessibility, and Screen Sharing from May 2019 to March 2024. As the Founder of MOON from 2013 to 2023, Charlie designed and developed a popular moon calendar app, which grew to nine million users. Charlie's experience also includes lead product design roles at WhatsApp Inc. and Facebook, contributing to features such as Status, Product Catalog, Facebook Groups, and various privacy tools. Early career experience includes roles in web design and media production at Electric Pulp and Wright. Charlie holds an MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BA in Economics from DePaul University, with additional studies at Illinois Wesleyan University.
