Dawn Marie Bracely has over 30 years of experience in journalism, with a current role as an Editorial Writer at The Buffalo News since September 2000. In this position, Dawn has authored numerous editorials on local, state, and national issues and collaborates with the editorial board to engage with politicians and community leaders. Prior to this, Dawn served as a News Reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle from 1990 to 2000, focusing on general assignments, police reports, and suburban news, while also contributing a biweekly column on community matters. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, completed in 1987.
