Elizabeth Licata is an experienced editorial writer currently working at The Buffalo News since May 2022. As a freelance writer and editor since 1987, Elizabeth has authored notable books such as "Secret Buffalo" and "100 Things to Do in Buffalo Before You Die," contributed to anthologies, and written for various magazines including "Horticulture" and "Art in America." From January 2007, Elizabeth has been a writer for Garden Rant, providing insightful commentary on gardening. Previously, as Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher at Buffalo Spree Publishing from August 1999 to April 2022, Elizabeth oversaw content and editorial decisions for the magazine and its related publications.
