Cameron Burton

Cameron Burton, PMP, currently serves as Health and Safety Manager at The Butchart Gardens, a position held since June 2018, following a long tenure as Visitor Services Manager from May 1992 to June 2017, overseeing a department of 140 staff plus contractors. Responsibilities included Admissions, Information, Security, and various operational areas. Cameron has been involved in health and safety initiatives, serving as Co-Chair of the Joint Health and Safety Committee and as a member from 2007 to 2017. Previous experience includes Site Manager at Sarkiki Reef Resort and Accounts Agent at Clarica Financial Services. Cameron holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria and is an OFA Level III First Aid Attendant since 1996.
