Henning Banthien

Over the course of his professional career, Henning Banthien has been responsible for the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, infrastructure, and digital transformation in both the public and private sectors. Building on his international experience in think tanks and companies, he is currently the director of Industry 4.0, the most powerful network on the Internet for collaboration among industry groups. He helps clients of IFOK GmbH, A Cadmus Company, achieve extraordinary results with expertise in science communication, sustainability, dialogue, and innovation.

Henning is a member of the Association of German Engineers’ Advisory Board on Technology and Society, chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of the Association of Berlin Merchants and Industrialists, a member of the Board of the Humboldt University Foundation, and a guest lecturer at the Hertie School of Governance.
