Katherine Martel

Kathy Martel is a Senior Associate at The Cadmus Group, Inc., with a career spanning over three decades in the field of water quality and infrastructure. Since May 2006, Kathy has managed projects for the USEPA and EPA Regions, focusing on the development and implementation of drinking water regulations and assessment of national infrastructure needs. Kathy has also led research projects funded by the Water Research Foundation and the USEPA, addressing practical guidelines and innovative technologies for drinking water treatment. Previously, Kathy served as a Senior Engineer at HDR, Inc., conducting research on water distribution systems and collaborating with industry experts. Earlier roles include Corporate Engineer at Consumers Water Company, where Kathy designed critical water infrastructure, and Project Engineer at Woodard & Curran. Kathy holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
