Patrick Cooper is currently the Assistant Principal at The Calais School since August 2022. Prior to this role, Patrick worked as a Detention Supervisor, Special Education Teacher, and Administrative Intern at Pequannock Township School District for nearly a decade. Patrick also served as a Project Manager for the Sustainable Jersey for Schools Initiative. In terms of their academic background, Patrick holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from New Jersey City University, a Master's in the Art of Teaching in Special Education from the same university, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Rutgers University - Newark.

The Calais School
The Calais School is a leading private, non-profit school in special education serving young people in grades Pre-K through 12 Plus since 1970. Our mission is to empower and encourage students with special needs including ADHD, reading and math weaknesses, anxiety and mood disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Calais staff provide a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment for students requiring new behavioral and academic strategies in a non-judgmental atmosphere. Students come to Calais by referral from local school districts, therapists, and counselors throughout nine northern New Jersey counties.
