Richard Tate is the President and CEO of The California Wellness Foundation. Prior to this role, Richard served as Executive Vice President and Vice President of Public Affairs at the same organization. Richard is also a Board Member at the Stupski Foundation and previously held positions as Board Chair at The OUTWORDS Archive and Board President at Northern California Grantmakers. With a background in communications and marketing, Richard has held various leadership roles at companies such as HopeLab, Chiron, and Citysearch. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (Creative Writing) from the University of Southern California and a Distinguished Leader Executive Certificate from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
