Jim Eckels

Jim Eckels is the managing partner at The Cambridge Group. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the technology and industrial sectors. Jim has a proven track record of success in both the public and private sector.

Eckels began their career as a manufacturing engineer at Cooper Industries. Jim then transitioned to management consulting at Booz & Company where they led business strategy projects for global clients. In 1998, they joined Motorola Mobile Devices as the general manager of the consumer software and services business. Under their leadership, the business grew from $25 million to $120 million in just two years.

Jim Eckels has an MBA and Master's of Engineering Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Jim also has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jim attended Wheaton North High School.
