Alexandra Carruthers

Alexandra Carruthers is an experienced strategy manager currently with Canada Infrastructure Bank, having assumed the role in September 2023. Previously, Carruthers held various positions within NY Green Bank from February 2022 as Associate - Strategy and as Summer Associate - Strategy starting in June 2021. A graduate consultant at The World Bank from January to May 2021, Carruthers also contributed as a Graduate Researcher at Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment during 2020-2021. Earlier experience includes a tenure at OMERS from April 2015 to January 2020, where Carruthers worked as an Analyst in Risk Reporting & Insights, Risk Management, and as a Coordinator in Risk Management. Carruthers holds a Master of Public Administration in Energy and Environment from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Queen's University.
