Emily Talas

Emily Talas is an accomplished professional currently serving in Events & Marketing at The Well since July 2024 while also being the Founder of LYV.EVENTS, established in August 2022, where vendor markets and social events in Toronto are curated. As Community Lead for The Cansbridge Fellowship from April 2022, Emily has successfully managed a network of 215 young leaders and spearheaded recruitment, resulting in a significant increase in applications. Experiences also include roles as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Pettable, managing events at stackt, and co-founding letsbloom, Canada's first personalized book subscription service focused on mental health. Emily's leadership skills were showcased previously as President of Jack.org at Queen's University, where a team of 25 was led in organizing a major summit. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Health Studies and Education from Queen's University, complementing an extensive record of impactful community and entrepreneurial initiatives.
