Shahab Farooqui

Shahab Farooqui is a Technical Program Lead at The Canton Group. Shahab has over four years of experience as a Sr. .Net Developer/Team Lead. Shahab has participated in all phases of SDLC, including requirement gathering, analysis and design, development, testing, and implementation. Shahab has also prepared Business and Technical Design Documents, Disaster Recovery Documents, and Unit test plan documents. In addition, Shahab has participated in Design Document review, System Test Plan review meetings, and Disaster Recovery Exercises. Shahab is also responsible for maintaining the Application's production environment and investigating Problem Root causes, Temporary and Permanent Solutions of problems, and impacts on the application. Shahab has developed and maintained SOA-based Real Time interfaces to transfer data across systems using WCF .NET Framework and SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS). Shahab has also participated in the upgrade of WORKS applications from SQL 2005 to SQL 2012 Cluster Environment and .Net 2.0/3.5 to .Net 4.0. In addition, Shahab is responsible for Code Review, Code Refactoring, and Optimization.

Shahab Farooqui has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Preston University. Shahab is certified from UiPath in UiPath Advanced RPA Developer v1.0, Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master. Shahab also has a certification from Microsoft in MCTS - SQL Database Development 2008.

Shahab Farooqui reports to Ethan Kazi, CEO. They are on a team with Elena Bozylinski - Program Lead, Stephanie Yates - Director of Elections Programs, and Brian Hensley - Chief Operating Officer.
