Rachel Newman

Rachel Newman has extensive experience in mental health and addiction treatment, holding various roles from Program Director to Counselor in multiple residential treatment facilities. Rachel has served as Resident Counselor at The Canyon since 2014 and has a strong background in admissions and client care, evidenced by previous positions as Admissions Director at Epiphany House and Program Director at both Malibu Ranch and Real Recovery. Additionally, Rachel has worked as a System Administrator for Newman Administration, providing diverse administrative support, and as a Social Director at Four Seasons at Mirage, where Rachel coordinated community activities. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology with a minor in Biology from Stockton University.
