Matt O'Connor

Matt O'Connor is currently the Head of Distribution for North America at THE CAPITAL GROUP COMPANIES, INC. Matt has previous experience working in Business Development for both Capital Group and Putnam Investments.

Matt O'Connor has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Matt started their career in 1993 at Putnam Investments in Business Development. In 2008, they transitioned to Capital Group in the same role. In 2009, they became the Director of Capital Group Institutional Investor Services and held that position until 2012. In September 2012, they assumed their current role as Head of Distribution for North America.

Matt O'Connor has a BA in Economics from Saint Anselm College and an MBA in Finance from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
