Annie Yan has extensive experience in education, particularly in teaching Mandarin and managing educational programs. Since June 2009, Annie has operated a Chinese Afterschool Program at Hanlin Academy, overseeing six teachers and their schedules. Concurrently, Annie has held the position of Mandarin Teacher at The Carey School and Belmont Oaks Academy, where classes range from 18 students to smaller groups. Founding Happy Angels Preschool in August 2016, Annie aims to establish a leading bilingual preschool in the Peninsula. Previous roles include Mandarin Teacher positions at Roy Cloud School, Redwood Parents Nursery School, Helios New School, Inc., and Palo Verde Elementary, where Annie was responsible for classroom management, curriculum design, and lesson planning.
