Kathryn Rizzo

Kathryn Rizzo is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Student Support Team Coordinator at The Carey School since July 2019 and also as a Professional Development Consultant for Aim High since June 2014. Previously, Kathryn held positions such as Education Specialist at The Academy of Alameda from August 2017 to July 2019, Second Grade Teacher at Alta Vista School from August 2014 to July 2017, and Third Grade Associate Teacher at Katherine Delmar Burke School from August 2012 to July 2014. Additional experience includes roles as Education Assistant and Bilingual Preschool Teacher at the Museum of Chinese in America and Hands on World Preschool, respectively, from January 2009 to May 2012. Kathryn Rizzo holds two Master’s degrees, one in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and another in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Art History from The New School, earned between 2006 and 2010.
