Jaco van Den Berg

Jaco van den Berg has extensive work experience in various positions. Jaco started their career in the Royal Netherlands Army as a Corporal in the Department DGW&T, where they provided expert advice and managed spatial interests of customers at Defense.

After that, they held various sales positions, including roles as Sales Representative for companies such as Dutch Yellow Pages, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Heineken Netherlands B.V., and Panasonic Copiers.

In 1997, they became the Business Development Manager Benelux at ITT World Directories (Benelux) BVBA, where they were responsible for managing existing and new corporate accounts, drawing up account plans, and identifying clients' commercial and business developments.

In 2000, Jaco joined AGS-FreightWatch Europe B.V. as the Director of Security Operations, where they were responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, operations, sales, and business development. Jaco also focused on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the various LOB's and developing a growth strategy for security activities and customer satisfaction.

Finally, in 2016, Jaco became the Managing Director of The Cargo Security Company - Companies.

Jaco van den Berg attended multiple educational institutions throughout their life. Jaco obtained a degree from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they studied RSE, CPO, and MSec from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1987-1988 for an unspecified field of study in Economics. Jaco completed their high school education at Albeda College in the Netherlands from 1984 to 1987, specializing in General Sales, Merchandising, and Related Marketing Operations. Additionally, they received preparatory secondary vocational education at M.A.V.O.-D, The Netherlands, from 1979 to 1984. Outside of these formal education institutions, Jaco also obtained various certifications, including ASIS Foundation Donor from ASIS International in December 2021 and several sales and marketing certifications from Kenneth Smit and NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing.
