Brittany Castro

Brittany Castro has a comprehensive work experience that spans over several years. Most recently, they worked at The Carlstar Group as the Director of Human Resource Services. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Human Resources at WRG Texas, where they also served as a Human Resources Manager. Before joining WRG Texas, Brittany worked at Excentus as a Human Resources Manager, where they led the Talent & Workplace team and managed various employee-related activities and specialist projects. Brittany also worked at Billingsley Company as a Human Resources Generalist. Earlier in their career, Brittany had roles as a Newsletter Coordinator at Humane Society of Lewisville, an Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapist as a self-employed individual, and a Customer Service Associate at Costco Wholesale. Brittany gained experience as a Public Relations Intern at the City of Allen and as a Marketing Intern at Wisteria.

Brittany Castro, PHR, has a significant education background in the field of public relations and communication. Brittany obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, specializing in Public Relations and Communication, from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of Northern Colorado between 2004 and 2006, focusing on Public Relations.

In terms of certifications, Brittany Castro has achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) designation from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in HR Ethics from the HRCI in March 2023.
