Amy MacKlin

Amy Macklin is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and communications strategy. Currently serving as Senior Associate Director of Development at The Carter Center since June 2020, Macklin has held significant roles at various organizations including the CDC Foundation as Senior Advancement Officer and Consultant, and the East Lake Foundation as Vice President of Resource Development. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Development and Communications at Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and Assistant Division Director at Georgia Public Broadcasting. With a solid educational background in English Literature from the University of Virginia and brief studies at Regent's University London, Macklin's expertise encompasses Annual Campaigns, Major Gifts, and Special Events, among others. Additionally, experience in international education was gained while teaching in the Peace Corps in Lesotho.
