David M. Kortee

David M. Kortee has extensive experience in finance and administration, currently serving as the Senior Finance & Administration Officer at The Carter Center since January 2007. In this role, David is responsible for financial reporting, control systems, and compliance with internal policies and donor requirements for a program with a team of sixty-five and an annual budget of seven million United States dollars. Previously, David worked as a Consultant at the Liberia Fellows Program and the Clinton Foundation, providing financial support and ensuring compliance with program and donor requirements. David's earlier roles include Senior Finance & Administration Officer at Landmine Action, Finance & Administration Manager at Electoral Reform International Services/Carter Center, and Administrator/Liaison & Public Relation Officer at Medecin Sans Frontier. Academically, David holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Cuttington University Graduate School and a Bachelor of Public Administration in Business Administration and Management from the University of Liberia.
