Kate Braband

Kate Braband serves as the Senior Associate Director of Development at The Carter Center, with a tenure beginning in May 2015. Prior to this role, Kate held various positions at Lutheran World Relief from 2004 to 2015, including Deputy Director for Technical Support, where notable achievements included securing substantial funding through successful proposals and overseeing significant projects. Additionally, Kate's experience encompasses roles at the Food and Agriculture Organization and CARE USA, emphasizing program development, policy advocacy, and research in global health and nutrition. Kate holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Macalester College, complemented by international study in Senegal.
