Mekdes Abiy

Mekdes Abiy is a skilled professional in logistics and supply chain management with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical field. Currently serving as a Pharmaco-Logistician at The Carter Center since June 2023, Mekdes has previously held positions as a Pharmacist/Procurement Specialist at Orbis International and as a Procurement Officer and Quantification and Market Shaping Officer at the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service from October 2018 to June 2023. Mekdes holds a Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Addis Ababa University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Gondar.
