Annjana R. is an accomplished Engineering Leader currently leading international expansion at Monzo Bank since March 2024. Additionally, Annjana serves as a Zinc Fellow at ZINC, a founding member of the Female Founders Directory, and an advisory board member at The Catalyst Collective, focusing on organizational support, partnerships, and fundraising. Annjana is also the Director at Gaido Ltd, providing coaching and advisory services to individuals and companies. Other roles include mentor at Techstars, advisory board member at Be the Business, trustee at Resonate Arts, and angel investor at Investing Women Angels. Previously, Annjana led all aspects of machine learning platform infrastructure at Wayve. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SSN College of Engineering.

The Catalyst Collective provides mentoring for the next generation of Black Women. We believe that mentoring can be a powerful intervention in the lives of young women. We recruit, train, match and support young professional Black women with Black teenagers for year-long, meaningful mentoring relationships. Vision: The vision of The Catalyst Collective is to create a society in which Black women are well represented in all educational and professional settings, and Black teenagers can access a range of representative role models to inspire them and to help them develop towards achieving their goals. Objectives: The Catalyst operates with three core objectives: 1. To connect young Black women with relatable role models to act as mentors for a year of high-quality mentoring. 2. To support mentees and mentors in achieving SMART goals which will help them to progress towards future aspirations. 3. To create a rewarding and quality volunteering experience that develops the leadership skills of professional Black women and provides them with access to a wider network and other opportunities.
