Jamie Solis

Educational Technology Integrator | Steam Camp Director at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine

Jamie Solis has a diverse work experience in the field of education. They have worked as an Educational Technology Integrator and STEAM Camp Director at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine since July 2022. Prior to that, Jamie was an Associate Teacher and STEAM Camp Director at the same school from September 2020 to July 2022. They founded NOISE212 Labs in September 2018, where they focused on curriculum development and teaching. Jamie also worked as a STEAM Resident at The GIANT Room from January 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Childhood Education and Special Education from New York University from 2008 to 2011. Jamie also earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Bard High School Early College from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their degrees, Jamie has obtained several certifications. They are an Adobe Creative Educator certified by Adobe, obtained in August 2023. They also hold the Green Classroom Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, obtained in May 2020. Furthermore, Jamie is a NYS Certified Childhood Teacher (K-Gr 6) certified by the NYC Department of Education, obtained in March 2020. Finally, they are a Google Certified Educator, although the specific month and year of their certification are not provided.
