Laura Higgins

Laura Higgins has extensive experience working in the education field. Laura began their career in 1987 as a Fourth Grade Assistant Teacher at The Brearley School. Laura then moved on to The Town School, where they served as a Second Grade Head Teacher from 1988 to 1997, and later as a Lower School Math Specialist from 1998 to 2008. In 2008, they joined The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine as the Head of Lower School, a position they currently hold.

Laura Higgins attended Homestead High School but the start and end years are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to attend Smith College from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Leadership in Math Education at Bank Street College of Education from 1996 to 1999.
