Ford McCracken

Ford McCracken is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Senior Associate News Editor at The Cavalier Daily, where responsibilities include managing the City and Local Government subdesk and covering local news and city council activities. Previous roles at The Cavalier Daily include Senior News Writer, Senior Associate Opinion Editor, and Opinion Columnist. Ford also holds significant experience at Camp Longhorn, advancing from Junior Counselor to Head Counselor, and subsequently to roles such as Division Head, Director of Waterfront and Swim Program, and Special Activities/Funtastics Director. Additionally, Ford is a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and is pursuing a degree at the University of Virginia, having graduated from Anderson High School in June 2022.
