Heather Hale has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Heather started their career as an Environmental Health and Safety Assistant Manager at Graphic Packaging International in 2005. In this role, they maintained environmental compliance records and ensured safety and environmental regulations were followed on the production floor.
In 2007, Heather worked as a Legal Intern at RI DEM- Bureau of Environmental Protection. Their responsibilities included researching and analyzing legal issues, attending administrative and trial court hearings, and providing recommendations for further action.
In 2008, they served as a Summer Associate at Hammarlund Law Office, where they conducted research and drafted memoranda on private real estate law, foreclosure, and collections issues.
From 2010 onwards, Heather joined The CCS Companies, starting as an Arbitration Representative and Quality Monitoring Specialist. Heather managed subrogation files for automobile, medical, and property insurance cases in all 50 states, resulting in over $1 million in collections. Heather also presented training workshops for other arbitration representatives.
Heather then advanced to the role of Arbitration Supervisor. In this position, they successfully managed a team to increase production and collections in Arbitration Forums by $3 million in 2015. Heather also developed new classes and procedures for training and mentoring representatives on subrogation, arbitration, tort law, and state laws.
After that, they became the Manager of Arbitration and Third Party Carrier, responsible for overseeing arbitration operations. Finally, Heather served as the Subrogation Manager, before being promoted to the Director of Operations, Subrogation in February 2019.
Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in arbitration and subrogation, and a commitment to achieving high production and collection targets.
Heather Hale pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Heather then went on to Roger Williams University School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree in Law, attending from 2006 to 2009. After completing their J.D., Heather Hale continued their legal studies at the University of Oregon School of Law, where they obtained their LL.M. degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Heather Hale also holds the Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) certification from the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, which they earned in November 2018. Moreover, they are a licensed attorney in New Hampshire, having been admitted to the New Hampshire Bar Association.
